LOVEFiLM ENTERS 3RD YEAR AS OFFICIAL MEDIA PARTNER OF BFI 54TH LONDON FILM FESTIVAL
For the third year running LOVEFiLM, Europe’s largest subscription service streaming movies and TV episodes over the Internet and sending DVDs by post, has been selected as an official media partner for BFI 54th London Film Festival, which this year runs from 13th – 28th October.
LOVEFiLM’s activity has launched a week prior to the festival via an interactive microsite (http://festival.blog.lovefilm.com). Film fans will be encouraged to discuss this year’s line up and offered the chance to win tickets to several festival screenings, including the festival-opening film adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro’s acclaimed novel Never Let Me Go starring Brit actors Keira Knightley, Carey Mulligan and Andrew Garfield.
Once the festival is underway, LOVEFiLM will be blogging and tweeting (@helenLOVEFiLM & @LOVEFiLM) daily video content, photos, news and reviews live from the festival’s multiple venues in addition to interviewing talent and directors. Editorial content will also appear throughout LOVEFiLM’s magazine section.
LOVEFiLM.com will host a homepage takeover, with messaging also included in LOVEFiLM’s weekly newsletters - received by more than one million members.
