TWILIGHT STAR AS YOU’VE NEVER SEEN HIM BEFORE
Fans have always been sweet on Robert Pattinson, but now they have even more reason to salivate after seeing him immortalised in over 18kgs of solid milk chocolate.
Dubbed the ‘ultimate Easter egg’, the bust of the star was commissioned by LOVEFiLM, Europe’s leading film & TV, digital and DVD rental subscription service with over 67,000 titles, after ‘RPatz’ beat the likes of Johnny Depp and Gerard Butler to top a list of the tastiest celebs in Hollywood.
The solid Belgium chocolate sculpture took food artist Prudence Staite two weeks to complete and has been created in the likeness of his most famous character – vampire Edward Cullen from the phenomenally successful Twilight films.
The site, which posted a video of the bust being created at www.LOVEFiLM.com/RobertPattinson has since been besieged by requests from fans keen to take a bite out of the heartthrob’s head through its competition to win the sculpture. One lucky winner will take home the chocolate head and has until December this year to eat it before its ‘best before date’ expires.
The incarnation of the star comes as he releases his new romantic drama Remember Me, co-starring Emilie de Ravin and Pierce Brosnan, before gearing up for a summer cinema assault with the release of the third Twilight film – Eclipse in July.
