Role Overview
We are looking for a Web Analyst to enhance the Analytics team. The main purpose of this position is to customize the web analytics implementation to meet the exact business requirements and reporting needs, and assist the dev team in the implementation of the tracking code or APIs throughout all websites and platforms.

You will also need to be happy working on both the detail of execution and the broader challenges of ensuring that analytics creates value within our business.
Responsibilities & Activities
• Creation of solution designs – work with the stakeholders to translate business requirements into specification documents for the dev teams.
• Oversee the implementation of JavaScript, ActionScript, Data Insertion API or any other rich media data collection, to ensure the business needs are met.
• Assist dev teams throughout the implementation process.
• Perform regular and ad hoc audits in the web analytics implementation across all websites and platforms. Validate and debug implementation problems, JavaScript errors and product functionality. Follow through on issues until resolved.
• Document issues and best practices relating technical configurations.
• Assist the rest of the Analytics team with reporting, insights and user training.
Essential Skills and Experience
• Experience implementing and using web analytics solutions, preferably Omniture SiteCatalyst.
• Experience working with APIs
• Phenomenal attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to deal with change and be a team player.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passionate about new technologies.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
• Experience running analytics in non-cookie based environments (such as Mobile Applications).
• Technical understanding (url, php, Flash, html, JavaScript, Java, CMS systems, etc)
• Experience using/implementing A/B and Multi-variate testing
• Experience tracking streaming media
• Ability to write and run MySQL queries
• Experience of voice of the customer packages (preferably Opinion lab)
