Dear People at LOVEFiLM,
On Friday (18 February) I decided to take up your trial membership. I registered on your website, which was very user-friendly and straight-forward. I put some dvds in ‘my selection’ (there were so many to choose from…it didn’t take long to find many that I wanted to see!). Shortly thereafter I saw that one had been chosen to be the first sent to me…with an expected arrival of two days (it would be a sunday so I thought it might come on Monday or Tuesday). I was so surprised to see it in the post today (Saturday 19th Feb)….only the day after ordering!!!! I am definitely going to spread the word at work that others should have a look at your site and consider joining! Well done….
LOVEFiLM has done a whole lot more than provide a convenient internet DVD service. They have drew my family together, given us common interest OK, you haven’t resolved all the intricacies and conflicts that occur in our life. You haven’t been the panacea to what is the rollercoaster of life, you haven’t stopped our little tendency to over spend on the credit card, and you haven’t even cured any deeper ails.
What you have done however is for periods of 50 minutes given the ability to access the many cultural moments and icons that many people miss in their life because time scales don’t allow it. Where we can sit down, dim the lights, lock the door, turn off the phones, and submerge ourselves, as a couple, into someone else’s life.
Not only do I think this is an untapped aspect to the service you provide, I think it has opened a vast amount of culture I haven’t previously thought about..

I would like to congratulate you on a truly excellent service to date. I was very sceptical about the whole system at first, however the speed and efficiency of your company has certainly impressed me.
It’s not that often that I write about good service – As you generally don’t, but with regard to the whole system / service supplied by Tesco DVD Rental, I would like to compliment all involved. My partner is not very well at the moment and has now been ill for a month. She manages to watch the DVDs same day that they arrive and within 48 hours, we’ve got another… This really has been the best £13.97 that I have spent for a long time! The films that we have already seen would have cost much, much, much more from ‘you know who’ and it’s almost ‘exciting’ waiting to see what your going to allocate us next.
My only issue is that as my Girlfriend wants to see more films, I don’t get to watch many, but hey. Anything for a quiet life
